At 2:00pm on Friday, January 18, 2008, the National Council for Science and the Environment hosted a debate on Climate change for presidential candidate campaigns at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, Washington, DC. Congressman Dennis Kucinich and representatives of Senators Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and Barak Obama took part. All campaigns were invited, but others chose not to participate.
